Thanks! I love bougainvillea, especially those gigantic specimen I saw in Turkey - so impressive.

These are just amazing cookies! I love the piping around the edges of the cookies and you make it look so easy to do. Great idea and wonderful creativity!!

Thanks, Carol! And I made an interresting observation - it is a lot easier to pipe those lines if you let the icing rest in the bag for a couple of hours and don't use it straight out of the mixer

You're absolutely right!! I did that very thing today and found it much easier to work with the icing, especially for fine detail work . Beautiful job!!
