Amazing!  did you put a glaze on your cookies before icing?

Thank you Lisa,  this is a honey gingerbread cookie that has an egg wash applied directly after baking, to give it a beautiful shinny finish.

Very, very lovely!!  I don't know which pattern I love the most - I know that the roses look the most difficult but that plaid is gorgeous!!

Thank you Sherrie, they were all fun to do...

Your welcome, I'm always happy to answer questions

Teri Ahhhh !!!! Another of your work that excites me !!!! It seems to have split the beautiful heart and that each fraction is a different style, the color palette is warm and delicate, the edge of the cookie is simple but beautiful. and, like most of your work it is very elegant. Your work always makes me feel good, thank you !!!!

When you post for the challenge, you need to state which of the techniques/materials from the challenge list you used in a comment, not just in the tags. So, if you don't mind...

Hand painted with luster dust and food color gel, Wet on wet technique, edible pearls and sprinkles, Royal icing rose transfers.Intricately hand piped............ good?

Thank you for clarifying, but unfortunately, by my count, you have only used 3 eligible techniques/materials: "wet-on-wet" and "intricately hand-piped" do not count.  Here is list:

2.  Create your mixed media cookie (or set) using a minimum of four (4) of the following different media/techniques. (If you make a set, not every cookie has to use all four techniques, but at least one of them must!)

  • royal icing transfers
  • fondant or gumpaste elements
  • SugarVeil® or other edible lace elements
  • sprinkles, dragées, or other storebought candies
  • stenciled areas or elements
  • stamped areas or elements
  • wafer paper, frosting sheets, edible gold/silver leaf, or other edible paper
  • homemade candy, such as melted clear mints, sugar syrup boiled to various stages, modeling chocolate, etc.
  • isomalt
  • luster dusts
  • painted areas or elements, using extended dusts or food coloring
  • hand-drawn areas or elements, using edible marker

Ok, I will just add a fondant bow to it... will that be good? I counted the luster dust as one

Hi, This is a super lovely cookie,  but I agree with Christine in that I only see three qualifying  techniques, so I have removed this cookie from the challenge. If you would like to add a fondant bow or one or more of the other techniques listed above to it, then, yes, it would qualify. But please be sure to list all of the techniques used in a comment under your new photo (as stated in the rules), so we don't have to hunt for them or guess what was done. Thanks!
