Wow! There are so many amazing textures included in your design. I love how your quilt mimics the patterns and textures that can be found in actual fabrics, especially the lace detail and the waffle weave border. It really adds a wonderful sense of realism. This is really a wonderful and thoughtful entry. Did you plan out the design in advance or was it based more on experimenting with different techniques?

Thank you Christine @Sweet Prodigy. I did plan out the design in advance. As soon as I saw this challenge, patchwork just popped in my head. I had done some patchwork sewing in the past and I had all these fondant mats that I use for cake decorating so it was only a matter of putting it all together. I really enjoyed this project because I had done a cookie with pleating parchment paper but never using silicone mats molds or foil.
