HI!

Yes, the transfers were a wet on wet technique and brushed with a mixture of gold dust and almond extract.    

I would have liked to approached the upper part of the wing differently.  I didn't make enough parts and/or make them large enough to over lap and I was claiming too much of the kitchen from the family for too long.  A lesson for next time though.

It looks lovely to me; I wouldn't have noticed the non-overlap if you hadn't pointed it out.
