I made my own stencils.

1st technique: stenciling with airbrush and spraying with brush.

2nd technique: stenciling with sponge.

3rd technique:  stenciling with royal icing for the man in the wave.

Sponge stenciling  with royal icing and luster dust for the wave effect.

Lovely cookie!  Could you please clarify which three stencils you used?  I see from your additional photos that you stenciled the sky and the surfer in the foreground, but what is your third stencil? (Per the rules, you need to use a minimum of 3 different stencils.)

As you can see from the third photo, I stenciled a part of the wave with the sponge technique to give depth.
