This is another one of Julia’s stencils. I was a bit too hesitant with some of my airbrushing and some colors did not come out exactly as planned.  But I had fun.  I tried to add dimension by adding some royal icing transfers as flowers.  I also added the messaging as a transfer, which may not have been the best choice.  Nonetheless,  I love the stencil design and there are many uses for the set.  However. I was hoping to find what felt like the perfect occasion to use it. Fortunately, I found two!  The first was for a friend with five sons.  They call themselves the β€œHive Five” and she is the queen bee.  The second occasion was for a friend who – like me - plays the NY Times Spelling Bee each morning.  For anyone who doesn't know, if you get 100% of the answers, you’re called a Queen Bee.  We always go for the crown.

These are wonderful Lisa @LisaF!! The use of Julia's stencil is perfect and I love the transfers and how you used them. Not sure why you said that you questioned the message being done as a transfer....I think it's perfect!!! I also love the color . Awesome work as always my dear cookie friend ❀️❀️❀️ Hugs...

Thank you for your kind words Carol.  I had my doubts about the message transfer because it seemed a bit blobby to me.  Julia's message stencils are always so crisp and clean when done properly.  I was afraid that a wonky shape of the transfer would take away from it. oh well, live and learn.
