So lovely to meet you, Susana! Yes, this is an awesome group♥️

For The Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge # 44 I made a set of three cookies with  icing stringwork leaves transfers. Tips for making the leaves:  I used thick royal icing and let leaves dry on tubes (learned it from Julia Usher's videos on 2-D transfers and Summer Botanical Series) for two days.  It was my first time with suspended strings (learned with  Auntie's Cakery video). leavesset of three cookies1set

Thank you very much, Julia!! Pastry is a creative hobby for me. Around 7 years ago, family reasons made me stay indoors so long;  I did many different things to keep me with a healthy mind. One of them were to watch your videos in youtube, with wich I discoverd a new fild for creativeness!! Recently by chance, I found in the web Cookie Connection!! Thanks for share your knowledge and make a space for many creative and proactive people!  Congrats for the way you are envolved to make a "Sweet Life" creating cookies' projects and connecting people!! Happy weekend!!!

😘

I am so glad that you posted close-ups of these cookies. First off, the crisp, white stringwork against the soft pastel colors is gorgeous! And your choice of accessories and backdrop really adds to the understated elegance of your designs. Also, looks like you found a perfect piping consistency. Really nice work!
