Oh how beautiful @Kanch J!! You created such an amazing 3D cookie project, especially using all the brush embroidery technique. Gorgeous work. I love the flowers and even the leaves are done with brush embroidery...wow!! I'm super impressed my dear ❤️❤️
Thank you so much dear Carol @Cookies Fantastique for your kind words. Yes, I really wanted to include as much as brush embroidery in my submission.
Great idea. I tried brush embroidery on 3D pinwheel cookies but was not successful. I didn't have time to try again but I think brush embroidery will work well for 3D cookies which you've proved here. Here your piece is beautiful looks exactly like the ones sold in Kanyakumari.
Thank you so much dear Joanna @Joanna ManuelYes, looks like it worked but when I was doing it I was also not that sure till I see the final outcome. It's nice to know that straw hats are popular in India and other part of the would too.
The technique and texture of your brush embroidery leave no doubt that this is a straw hat. And an incredibly realistic one at that. It was also clever how you reimagined a different way to create the flowers and butterfly. I also applaud you for those intact butterfly antennae.
Thank you so much dear Christine @Sweet Prodigy. I haven't use Brush embroidery much on cookies before but after the PBP challenge, realized that it can be applied in many ways. Thank you for encouraging us to think innovative. Regarding the butterfly antennae this is my first time I was also nervous at the beginning but later it came out well.
Oh wow!!!! This is an excellent presentation, dear Kanch! I love all the details you put into it, so many precise steps so meticulously arranged while learning from great teachers. The outcome couldn’t be better. Absolutely beautiful!♥️
It was difficult during planning but as you mentioned. Learning from great teachers I could able to come up with a good output. Thank you for the encouraging comment dear Heather. @Heather Bruce Sosa
Oh Kanchana, this is sooo lovely! This is such a great idea to make a straw hat using brush embroidery! This means we can make cookies of anything made with straw, you give us a great idea. You make me noticed that yes we also have many things made of straw, such as tatami mat, well that's not fancy at all, though.
I was wondering when you were going to post your cookie for this challenge and you made this prettiest straw hat. I love Challenge here because many cookiers give me super ideas that I would never notice.
Thank you for kind words dear Ryoko @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.Your comment is encouraging me so much. Glad to hear that you have been waiting to see mine. Yes, I do agree. Can get so many new ideas from each and every PRB challenge and from amazing artists.
