My latest just for fun cookie project - a 'Cookiescape'.
"The First Leaf of Autumn"
Its approx 9inches x 7 inches. I used Fondant, Royal Icing, Wafer paper, petal dust, airbrushing, stamping... just about every technique I could think of . Inspiration has come from all over the place, The Cookie Architect's last architectural challenge on Cookie Connection planted the seed, Sugar Pearls Cakes & Bakes mixed media post on CC further fueled the fire and led me to search "mixed media" on pinterest which lead me to the scrapbooking piece by Gabrielle Pollacco - http://gabriellepollacco.blogs...ial-dusty-attic.html.

This entire piece is stunning! I would never eat it. Ever. In fact, I think I want to live in it, lol. Great job mixing so many textures and having them all look like one seamless piece of artwork. Absolutely gorgeous!
Btw, thank you so much for providing all the information about the cookie. Often, the story of how an artist created a piece is as interesting as the artwork itself. What a wonderful piece of artwork it is! (Any plans to make a spring or winter version of it? Lol, I just want to see more.) Bravo!

Yes! I love hearing the stories too. And yes I want to do all the seasons!! I never really like doing the same cookie twice, so it might be other houses in the street for the other seasons thanks!
