Time for a Rosier Outlook

I had so much fun making these cookies.  The container and flowers are royal icing transfers.  I made the container transfers each time I had left over green icing. I added the lines each time I had another color left over so I used several colors on the 150 total, despite all of these looking the same.   The community kitchen has started having sit down meals at the location, instead of just take away.  I'm so happy because it definitely adds to the community feel, particularly  for some of the elderly or people who live alone.

It still amazes me how you make 150 cookies every single week my dear friend! Glass of wine is definitely called for when you finish the last ones, right? Hope you are well.

thank you so much dear Carol.  And happy, happy belated birthday!! As it turns out, these cookies were the last 150 batch for a bit.  The food pantry is going through all sorts of changes at the moment so I have taken a pause.  There are some admin and personnel changes and it seems like they're are still trying to sort out what's what.  The time off has been very welcome because we just got two puppies!!  I should resume with the cookies in a couple of weeks as long as these puppies don't drive me too bananas!  Hope you and your family are well. 😘❤️
