Trading Places

This cookie challenge is so much fun.  I’ve been completely absorbed in another project and I was afraid I wasn’t going to finish with enough time to participate.   I’m so glad I did!

(Please don’t include me in the drawing for the prize though. Being able to participate is reward enough for me!!)

Thank you so much Christine.  The shape felt like it had a lot of movement to me.  I had a lot of ideas flying around my head but wanted to focus on designs that I could actually execute.  At first, I was thinking of turning it vertical and basically stacking exotic fish (the curves seemed fishy to me 😂).  I kept turning the cookie around and eventually thought of the fish bowls.  Having the fish fly out of them felt like fun and could properly fit the shape.
