This was yet another wonderful tutorial and a great challenge. I can draw a basic rose but not anything complex but after a lot of practice I think now I can draw a decent rose! The large yellow rose cookie was my drawing. The small red rose cookies were from Etsy with permission from the author to use it for my cookies.

This was interesting as I have never done any water color painting on cookies. This was also the first time I have ever drawn a rose that was complex. I do need more practice with these techniques. Thanks to Julia Usher @Julia M. Usher, Manu @Manu biscotti decorati and Laura @Laura Saporiti for this wonderful challenge helping me to learn this technique and also learn how to draw a challenging flower like the rose.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all.

Zeena, Lovely, and congrats on being our first entrant! In accordance with Cookie Connection crediting rules and this challenge's rules, can you please post the permission you received from your Etsy source, name that source (the person/business), and link back to that source here in a comment (all sample credits in the challenge post involved links back to the source). Again, please refer to Rule #3, which says, "All permissions received and accompanying art credits (similar to those shown for the pansies at the start of this post, including a link back to the source art) should be posted in a comment under your entry."

THANK YOU!

Thanks for promptly adding the full and proper credit. This mode of crediting is always required on this site, so I appreciate you filling in the gaps and setting the standard for the rest of the challenge entries.

What beautiful work dear Zeena @Zeena!! Your challenge entry is gorgeous...and so many different cookies. You clearly have a real affinity for this technique as your rose demonstrates so beautifully. Simply incredible my dear! ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...
