Hi, all!

I have been making gingerbread biscuits here in 🇦🇺. I sell them at the local farmer's market and at different businesses. I have had a few issues with the freshness of the biscuits. I have them in clear poly bags and tie with ribbon, but I want to change it. How do you keep them fresh? How long do they last, and do you recommend heat sealing?

Thank you.

Hi, @Shaz89! Welcome again to the site. There are a bunch of existing forum posts on the subject of packaging for freshness, so you might want to check them out. Here's what came up when I used our "Advanced Search" feature (upper right of site; magnifying glass icon) to search the forums for "packaging for freshness":

This forum topic about heat-sealing is particularly relevant to the question you just raised: https://cookieconnection.julia...pic/cookie-freshness

Hope this helps. Perhaps others have more to add, as I don't package my cookies for sale anymore.

Also, there's a ton of info already in our forums, and they're super easy to search. Please let me know if you need assistance with that feature.
