This question has been asked quite a lot recently, so here's the 411!
There are at least a couple of places on Cookie Connection where you're encouraged to post info about giveaways, challenges, contests, and/or charity auctions - either those you're hosting or any others spotted online. We welcome all such contributions. The more, the merrier! And the easier to locate the wealth of these events if centralized in these spots!
- The quickest and easiest way to post events is by creating a new topic in this forum. Anything posted here will appear immediately without moderation. (Note: This is the best place for posting info about events that you know are happening, but which aren't hosted by you. A simple link off to the event will do!)
- You're also welcome to post event info into the proper category in the blog (all blog categories can be found here) provided the event is one of your own and you post a substantial description of it (not just a link offsite). All blog posts are moderated and will take longer than forum posts to appear because of the moderation process. (Please allow at least 24 hours.) Please also review the site's blog posting guidelines before posting there.
- Lastly, the site's calendar is also a great place for this content. Just go to "Calendar" in the main navigation line (or the link above), and click on "Add Event". Note: It's a good idea to enter both an opening and a closing date for your event on the calendar.
