You need diferent sizes of half sphere molds on silikone pans or metal for baking. Silikonmart have many sizes.  You can use the Julia Usher recipe for contoured cookies. She has many videos related.  Or You can decorate the planets with fondant or royalicing. Then hand paint details. For planets with rings like saturn you can melt isomalt and sprinkle some edible gliters. Or you can use an acetate. Or the plastic of Cake domes are a good option too. Gelatine mix like that used for flowers can be used too.   A cakeboard covered in black fondant can be used to display your planets. You can sprinkle some edible gliters and nonpareils in diferent sizes to simulate stars and planets.  Some cookie crumbs could be asteroids.

Mily, thank you for your great ideas, I will use some.
I was happy for the quick reply, thanks.

You don't necessarily need to bake over silicone hemisphere molds though - you can bake over any dome-shaped ovenproof item. I just made some tiny spheres (3/4 to 1 1/2-inch diameter) by baking over the backs of some round metal measuring spoons (1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp and 1 tsp measures).
