I saw quite a few cookiers were buying these bags on ebay (others sell them as well). I use bottles but thought I'd try the bags since they were so cheap, so I ordered some of these off ebay. You may find them on Amazon as well, not sure.

Anyway, they come in several sizes and I think they say "Master" on the bag. I tried them once and they were fine for flooding, but I still need to get the hang of using a bag for detail work.

I've used two different styles of the bulk bags. The thicker ones here are better if you're using couplers and tips. I've found the chinese Master style don't hold up as well to the tip pressure. They are much thinner. HOWEVER, I find them easier to work with tipless than the thicker Daymark bags. The Daymark have a weird seem that gets in the way of piping directly from the bag. I also like the Master bags because when I'm doing an extended decorating session and my icing in bags separates I can knead it back to the right consistency in the Master bags, as long as I'm going tipless. For a general all purpose bag for new decorators who haven't established preferences yet I still think Wilton has the highest quality but they are so darn expensive. I'm honestly really excited about the Masters.

I also use the Master bags from China. They are great although I am not a fan of tip-less decorating personally, it is much cheaper to get newbies used to working with them rather than invest in a ton of tips and couplers. No  more washing expensive bags! At 2 cents a bag there is no guilt in throwing them away or mixing a few extra colors! I never have a problem with ripping either. Just expect to wait a month for delivery from China.

I bought the Chinese Master brand. I was not a fan of how 'thin' they were. I am looking for some to use with couplers and tips, I'll look into the Daymark ones. But I still plan to use the Master brand.  I'm sure they take a while for shipping, but I was satisfied with the time from purchase to my mailbox.

I agree, the Master brand is very thin. But, I've filled them and then put them inside my wilton bags (like a bullet). It's easy cleanup.

I use the Master bags and I use them with tips and couplers. I haven't had many issues at all with them. Once in a while a bag will split, but that's quite rare for me. I have had pin holes appear but I've had great success with putting masking tape over the hole. One thing that I've found to be helpful with any kind of bag with a tip and coupler is to wrap a layer of masking tape around the base of the bag where it connects to the coupler before you put the ring on. This extra bit of support works really well.
