Our sixth Sweet Sharing chat will soon be upon us, and it - yet again - features a topic of keen interest to many cookiers, namely: how to create your own cookie videos to extend brand awareness, without breaking the bank (or your back)! And here with us to address this topic is the lovely Mary Valentino of Emma's Sweets. (If you're lucky, she'll also field questions about how she creates her dreamy cookie sets! )

Mary posted her first YouTube video on April 23, 2014, and she's been hard at work on videos ever since, producing not only for YouTube, where she boasts upwards of 8,000 subscribers, but also for Instagram and Facebook in the form of shorter (15-second) teasers. On Instagram, these mini-tutorials customarily reach hundreds of thousands of viewers! While Mary does not profess to be a video pro (yet! ), she has learned a lot over the last two years about shooting, fast-forwarding, cropping, and editing to maximize the instructional and entertainment value of her videos, as her most recent video is testament! And the really good news is: on May 27, she's willing to let you in on all of her secrets, so you can circumvent some of her past trial-and-error!

For more of Mary's videos, please visit her YouTube channel.

Mary's chat room is now open to receive advance questions, here. For more information about Mary, check out her brief bio below, and for more info about our Sweet Sharing chat series, click on the "i" (information) icon next to the chat title in the above link. Hope to "see" you there!

More About This Month's Guest
Mary's business is named Emma's Sweets after her daughter, Emma, who inspired her to pursue her cookie decorating passion. For Mary, decorating cookies (or, as she calls them, edible works of art) is how she channels her creativity and energy. Four days a week, Mary works in the financial industry, and, during her days off, she decorates as many cookies as she can!
