Hi, all, here's an opportunity for you and your cookie story to be published in Southern Living magazine. I'll let the email that I got from their Assistant Editor today speak for itself:

Hi there! I was referred to your site by the lovely Kate Sullivan of the Cookie Cutter Collector's Club. I am writing to you from Southern Living, where we are hard at work on a story about cookies. I'm looking for people with baking or cookie traditions (exchanges, etc.), and was wondering if you knew anyone that came to mind, or would be able to post a notice on your lovely site? Anyone with a story could email me directly.

Thank you, and hope to speak soon,

Kaylee Hammonds
Assistant Editor

If you think you have a great cookie tradition and story surrounding it, I encourage you to go for it. Please contact Kaylee directly at Kaylee.Hammonds@timeinc.com to let her know more about you and your story.

Best of luck!

****** UPDATE: MORE INFO ******

Just in from Kaylee, some additional info about submission requirements:

We are looking for people with stories  and traditions, preferably in the South (into which we do include Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri, along with the rest of the deep South). We don't need pictures, and the word count isn't necessarily a concern at this point. Of particular interest would be things like cookie exchanges, Christmas traditions, etc.
