Hi, as many of you probably read here yesterday, Tina (aka Tina at Sugar Wishes) has resigned from her contributors spot as our Sweet Sharing chat host. We will miss her dearly, of course, but I very much want to continue down the wonderful path she's cleared.
That said, I am seeking a person to fill Tina's big shoes 
- someone who is interested in organizing and hosting/moderating a one-hour chat with a featured guest every other month. This person must have a strong command of English (particularly the written word, as the texts are typed), be organized, enjoy reaching out to people s/he does not know, be a skilled interviewer, love cookie decorating, and be sufficiently computer-savvy to moderate the chat room. The latter is pretty straightforward, but anyone who signs up for the job will get well trained on the matter!
Responsibilities include selecting guests (in coordination with me, as I plan and host the other six chats each year) and topics as relevant, being the primary point person for the guest, publicizing the chat in your social media channels (as do I), and moderating the live chat. I will continue to set up all chat rooms and make all marketing materials for these chats.
As with all of our contributor positions, this one is a volunteer one too! However, there are many perks: meeting lots of great cookiers, getting your name circulating more broadly in cookie land, and collaborating with our other contributors from time to time on joint site projects. And, last but not least, the prospect, one day, of a Cookie Connection Milestone Award!
