Hi, all,  but especially new members!

It's great to see the wealth of fantastic photos being posted to the site, but lately many, many people have been posting too many at one time (per site rules, please upload no more than 5 in rapid succession) without any classification (clip sets or tags) whatsoever. As noted before, posting this way defeats the purpose of posting, as your images will never be found by search engines and people later.

In addition, it is extremely time consuming for me and moderators to fix photo classifications for you. In order to keep this community operating effectively for everyone (moderators included), I really need you to read and comply with the site posting guidelines. THANKS SO MUCH!

Crumbs, All the site start-up materials for newbies can be found as links in the signup letter that you receive when you join and also under the About section on the site. The letter recommends that you read Site FAQ, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy, all under the About section. I also suggest reading the Site Posting Guidelines in the Site FAQ and also on the home page of the site: https://cookieconnection.juliausher.com/topic/posting-images-READ-BEFORE-YOU-POST Thanks! Let me know if you have any other questions after reading this material.

Hi, again, I just saw your post in the blog. And I misunderstood. Casual comments, hellos, welcome posts, and that sort of thing are best placed in one of two areas:

1. Casual Cookie Chat forum (just create a new topic with your welcome note): http://cookieconnection.juliau...m/casual-cookie-chat

2. Our 24/7 online chat room: http://cookieconnection.juliau...m/casual-cookie-chat

However, if you're primarily interested in posting your images into the home page photos feeds, images get posted to the CLIPS area. You can then place your comments in the comment section right under the image.

I deleted your post to the site's blog, so feel free to re-post that content to one or more of the above areas.
