When I see your cookies, I always wonder where you draw your inspiration? They are each works of art and one of a kind. Does it just come naturally to you, or are you inspired by things around you? I find that to be the hardest part for me. What to do next.
Thank you for any ideas or suggestions.

Hi, Jaci! So sorry - I did not see this question here and so it did not get entered into the chat. (Next time, post it directly into the chat page.) I have alerted Kim though, and am hoping she'll answer your question here.

Thanks for the great question!

Hi Jaci,

Sometimes things come naturally for me, while other times I get inspiration from fabric, stickers or scrapbook paper.  Whenever I feel like I am having a dry spell I usually take a break from cookies and delve into something that I haven't tried before.  That little break helps to fuel the cookie fire again and I am back to creating a new design in my kitchen. I hope that helps!  You make the most gorgeous and elegant cookies!  ~Kim

Thank you so much Kim. I really do struggle with dry spells or getting caught up in the same style, but different cookie. I would love to be able to paint. The details and dimention you add to your cookies just boggles my mind! Thank you Julia. I went to the wrong area and missed it. I did find it and I loved all the Q&A which I bookmarked.;o)
