Is there a way to upload multiple photos as once, but tag them individually? For instance, I uploaded 5 pictures at once and when I wanted to add them to a specific set or tag them - the only way to do it is tagging ALL of the 5 pictures as the same set. In Flickr, I know you can add multiple pictures but tag them individually. Not a big deal to upload them individually - but it would be nice to have that capability.

Hi, Jill.

No, if you upload photos all at the same time, then you have to go back in and tag them differently if you'd like to do so (i.e., upload all at once; then edit each individually once uploaded.) But these are quick and easy edits to make in the blue column to the right of each photo. Otherwise, as you noted, they will all carry the same tags or classifications.

If you think others will be interested in this enhancement, then please re-post it here with a poll attached so we can gauge larger member interest. My site platform will not typically support enhancements (for free) unless a significant number of members (across all of their platforms) feel they need the feature. And I have no plans for supporting this particular upgrade in the immediate future. (Integrating Facebook fan pages - vs. personal pages - is higher on my list! )

But, again, feel free to post with a poll. You may have very well discovered a large need!

Just confirmed with the Hoop.la folks (my site support) that what I said above is true. Specifically in their words:

When you upload multiple clips at the same time they will all get the same list of Clip Set assignments, Tags and other settings that are set from the add clips interface. Then if you want to adjust the tags or clip sets from there, you will need to edit each clip individually and add/remove tags or clip sets.

I hope this answers the question!
