I just received a call from a woman checking on her order due for this weekend. After looking up her name, address, email, phone and any combination of, no order was to be found. She states that this is her 3rd order. I attempt to look up any orders by product shipped to her state. Nothing. I ask that she look at her billing statement to see if our # is listed. She doesn't have it. She's moved recently and doesn't have it. I tell her that I believe she must be mistaken and really ordered from another company as we have no record of her at all. I tell her we would be happy to rush an order for her. She becomes irate stating that she is going to write a blog and tell everyone that we treated her poorly and took her money. BBB complaint too. What's going on here? Any insight? Anyone have any similar situations before?

What a problema.  If you are sure you have her not in your list, maybe:

a) Used other name.

b) She has Alzehimer.

c) She really is confusing about the company.

d) she hoped to find and emergency Baker with luck.

e) She doesn't want to pay and this is how she will  justificate in her event.

f) She can call her bank to ask for it she has a charge in her billing. Banks keep that things for years.  I have a problema this year with a goverment paidment made last year, and  the bank looked at it. (but goberment fined me at the end.  Buissnes between bank and goberments. grrr! )

Thank you Mily. I really don't know what to make of it. There is absolutely no way she ordered from us and as much as I tried to offer different ways to help, she had a reason why it wouldn't work. Very strange. I truly don't know what she wanted and I'm unsure if there was ever an order from anyone.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If she files a BBB complaint, the BBB will contact you to hear your side of the story and to attempt a resolution. The complaint won't stay on your record if they can resolve it, or deem it a legitimate misunderstanding.
