First, let me back up! If you're not familiar with our Cookier Close-ups area on the blog, here's the official description:

Cookier Close-ups is the place on Cookie Connection where we celebrate the change-makers of the cookie decorating world. Whether forging new enterprises, inventing novel decorating techniques, or consistently charming us with their cookie decorating prowess, each of our featured thought leaders has redefined in his/her distinctive way how we interact, create, or otherwise do business here in cookie space!

That said, we just interviewed Karen and Mike Summers of Karen's Cookies, and we've got Sweetopia, SweetAmbs, and Glorious Treats already lined up for interviews later this summer.

Do you have other cookiers or cookie-related business providers who you're dying to learn more about? Let us know, and we'll do our best to round them up! But please check our blog first to see who we've already interviewed. Many thanks!

Great suggestion! She should know about the site, as I posted about it in a couple of our mutual groups. Don't believe she's joined yet though.

Oh my goodness.  All of the above suggestion are great! I think Callye from Sugarbelle of course.  Then there is Elizabeth of Arty McGoo, another fabulous painter.  Then of course, I think it would be fun to see you Julia

These are all great suggestions. Sweet Ambs - Amber is something else! I have learned so much from you all. I recently discovered an inspirational woman , Ruth Rickey. I am sure you know her. Her philosophy of Sugarzen transcends all forms of sugar making and loving. She would make a marvelous interview I am sure!

Amber is already lined up, as is Marian of Sweetopia!

I would like Marian from Sweetopia.  She has a wonderful web site and blog.

Her site is educational and inspiring.  She has been featured in many magazines.

Marian  is always there for you if you have questions.  Her educational site features wonderful and insightful videos on techniques for decorating cookies.

Fortunately the list of amazing cookie artist is long and some of my favorite were already interviewed or are about too, but there are a lady I'd like to listen too as well, the one in charge of Chapix Cookies.

Thank you so much.

cheers, Marta

Hi Julia - I'd love to see Stephanie White Kappel from The Hungry Hippopotamus.  She is an amazingly precise cookie artist, and does such amazing cookies they look 'real' - people are always having to ask if those are 'really' cookies or is that 'really' royal icing.  (It always is!) :-)  Thanks!

Well, I would like to know something about Teri Pringle Wood. Is that possible? I'm so curious

Great suggestion! Teri does such lovely work! However, our Cookier Close-ups are already fully slated with the winners of Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge #13 through December 2016. So I couldn't get to a Cookier Close-up with Teri or anyone else not already on the PBP list until 2017.

In the meantime . . . did you attend her live chat in April? (I don't see that you commented on it, so perhaps you did not.) It was preceded by an in-depth bio posted to our forums (http://cookieconnection.juliau...st-teri-pringle-wood) and, in the chat, Teri shared a lot of other good info. So you may want to check out that transcript: http://cookieconnection.juliau...th-teri-pringle-wood
