CK Meringue Powder

Hi, I am having issues since the last couple of days with my royal icing. I always use CK brand and use the same recipe and never had a problem like this. When the icing is mixed, I see beige dots or pieces through out the icing and when I try to pipe, it gets stuck in my tips. They are tiny but never before has this happened. Suggestions Needed for How to Decorate a Logo Cookie

I am a beginner! My boss is retiring, and I thought it would be nice to make cookies with our company logo. I worked with a company to create a custom cookie cutter but now I'm not sure how to go about decorating the cookie. Fondant? Royal Icing? The letters should be blue with a white background. So I've been up and running as a legal business from my certified home kitchen since April. Sales started super slow but have been picking up the past three months. But I need more sales to meet my financial needs and actually profit. I've tried participating in a few craft shows and the last was a total bust. Packaging Royal Icing

Hello, all! So I want to make some cute DIY gingerbread cookie decorating kits and am unsure as to how to go about packaging the royal icing so that it lasts several days without separating. Is this possible? My first thought would be to put in an uncut plastic icing bag and seal it up but I don’t think that will last more than 2-3 days. Is there a trick to this?Read More...

Finally! At long last, Missouri has jumped fully into fall, all in the 11 few days that I was in Japan. My green trees suddenly have tinges of red and orange on them, and all of the seed pods in my garden are now definitively VERY brown. A Halloween Before and After

Royal Icing Issues

Hi, all! I'm having problems and I hope someone can help!! I've been making the same sugar cookie recipe and royal icing recipe for YEARS! now all of a sudden, the icing is failing on me. It happened a few weeks ago for the first time. I doubled the recipe because I had 100 cookies to ice and by accident I used a whip. Hi, I’m a new mom to a 7 week old. I haven’t accepted any orders since July to give myself a maternity leave. I’m no longer working my 9-5, and I would like to begin making treats full time.
