Cookie Class with Tunde Dugantsi

This is a two day class with the 4 sessions described below.

Each session is 3-4 hours.

Classes are scheduled 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm both days, with lunch on your own between classes.

Seats are limited, you can sign up at http://www.tundescreations.com/texas.html.

Lace design
I have a secret to share with you: the intricate lace designs used by European cookie artists are actually easy to learn. In this class we will make royal icing, learn how the different icing consistencies can help to create the perfect cookie. We will learn the traditional red coloring (not icing) of the Hungarian gingerbread hearts. We will decorate red gingerbread hearts with lace design and create a 3D gingerbread heart.

Winter landscape
Everybody love these cookies so much, that I have to share them with you! In this class we will make a winter landscape cookie. I will have a few different designs for different skill levels.

Layered box
A layered box is a relatively easy 3D project and can make a gorgeous addition to small gifts. You can make them in any shape, hexagon is one of my favorites. In this class we will create a hexagon gift box with three different tops. The first will get traditional decoration with simple white royal icing, the second some flowers and the third madeira lace.

Hungarian folk art design
My most popular cookies are inspired by the wonderful and rich Hungarian folk art treasure. These designs are cheerful and elegant. You can make it colorful or all white. The flowers can be combined with the lace beautifully. In this class we learn to pipe the different flowers and create a few cookies combining the flowers with eyelets and/or lace.

Here are the projects that we will be doing:

Sounds great. I'm going to insert the photo into the main event description, so it's more visible.

Unfortunately, the calendar does not easily allow for photo uploads, but to do what I did, you can upload the photo to another site and then insert it in the html editor, using code similar to this:

<img style="border: 0;" src="https://www.juliausher.com/images/pic/Texas_(1).jpg" alt="" width="600" /></p>

Or more generally:

<img style="border: 0;" src="http://SITE-YOU-UPLOADED-PHOTO-TO/IMAGE-DIRECTORY-NAME-ON-SITE/NAME-OF-FILE" alt="" width="600" /></p>

Thank you Julia! I tried to insert, but it was too big and pushed the frame over, so I gave up. I am not good at html programming but will try again next time. Thanks again!

FYI - The code above shrinks the image to 600 pixels wide (width="600"), which is about the largest image that can fit in this space without blowing up the site.

I'm so tempted because I had so much fun in your Tennessee class.  However I learned most of it Tennessee and I'm doing snowy landscape at cookiecon.  i just can't come up with a good excuse to fly out there.
