We do have molasses and shortening but I don't think they are taste as same as grandma 's and Crisco.
As the western baking and decoration is quite different with ours，most of the ingredients are imported and normally there are no local substitutes. If you give a list to your workshop they can find the ingredients easily online. C&H powdered sugar ，Grandma's molasses and Crisco，all can be found on Taobao（which is like Ebay in US）.
P.S. We ge t used to buying these stuff online instead of in supermarket：）
