Yes, they dry much darker and for this reason it's difficult for me to mix up colors. I guess over time it will become second nature but starting out it would be really useful to have a reference guide for mixing colors. I would love to make a color mixing guide with visual or video and I just might but I would be extremely suprised if there isn't one available already...  Has anyone ever seen or heard of a color mixing how to guide for Chefmaster Liqa-Gels? 

There's the Lilaloa color charts that are sold in a set. She uses Americolor, but I've used it with all other brands and it works. I also have a set of Artisan Accents colors (11 colors) that come with a guide to mix every other color you need. For red, though, I've tried them all and I prefer Americolor Super Red. That said, I mix it little by little, starting with hot pink icing (I don't know where I got that tip) and add Super Red, but let it get deep overnight. It's always red after a few hours. Same with Super Black.
