Reply to "Help! How to Add Badge to Blog or Facebook Page?!"

Do you think I need to add a widget to my side bar? That is what I thought I'd have to do, but there is nothing that is categorized as a "badge" widget, or one that seems to work. Is there another word used for "badge" in the web world? It's all foreign to me!
