Reply to "Packaging Ocean-Themed Cookies with Sugar Sand?"

Update: Here's the response from my client regarding the sugar-sand cookie favors for her daughter's party:

"She absolutely loved them! The packaging was very pretty. The sugar-sand was also perfect. People asked me about the sand. They thought it was really neat."

I kept one of the favors myself to see how it would hold up after a week. It still looks great: No scratches on the cookie (and I really shook the bag every few days), no softening of the royal icing, no sticking to the cookie. Bag still looks great, too. (Note: The icing had 24 hours to dry prior to packaging, which might have helped.)

I would definitely do it again!
