I know this is an old topic but I just got my copy of ultimate cookies and Cookie Swap - have to agree - esp for a beginner like me these are going to be awesome resources....

And I am totally going to make Julia's Sugar cookie recipe this week (Have to get some ingredients for the Royal icing and regular all purpose flour (realize I only have wheat) Ive been collecting and organizing the tools for the last 3 weeks....
