3-D Cookie Sunglasses

I made these sunglasses, just to see if I could do it with my non-construction cookie dough.  It worked!  (Although I didn't try them on. lolz)

I used isomalt for the lenses, nosepiece (which is hand-sculpted isomalt--I totally made it up in the moment), holding them together, and keeping them on the cake board.  The fronts are hand-painted, piped royal icing...only because I was too lazy to make all 7 royal icing colors.

My 3D cookie obsession continues!
