Thank you for posting the tutorial link. Your explinations of balancing color, layering textures, combining cookies prior to baking, and using cutters not designed for cookies were all clear and fun to read.

I have a fish plaque (I forget the name of the medium) in my bathroom that I have been thinking of doing and still haven't taken myself to the challenge. Your fish are absolutely beautiful. I have learned from you how to take a large cookie and break down into smaller portions for decorating. I just haven't tried it. I get a cookie and go blank, as if a ginormous magnet erased the contents of my brain.

You might have success with simply sectioning off your cookie and flooding it all in white...and then start adding patterns. Trust me, when you get a couple of designs in there, the rest will flow from there. Thanks for the like!
