I donated some cookies to the local Fireworks Fund for them to sell at the Farmers’ Market. I played around with different ideas but liked Julia’s stencil the most. It’s straight forward and easy to execute. I tried to do some Lady Liberty royal icing transfers but I didn’t do her enough justice to include. The fireworks committee was delighted. It was a good reminder for me that even though some designs and cookie ideas are very familiar to all of us, they aren’t necessarily to the general population. They treated me like Miss America when I dropped them off!!
Great job - as you can see, great minds think alike. (I also posted cookies using the same set today!)
LOL. I was hesitant to even post the cookie because it's so derivative! It's completely symbolic of you and July Fourth! But it's perfect for the occasion. I just wanted to remind everyone of the "fireworks" of a great stencil.

But I love seeing how people use them in different ways than I might/did - and you completely did that! Thank you!
