For these cookies, wet-on-wet technique used as the border. Since it was warm climate here, RI started to dry too fast which I couldn’t achieve the result expected. Marbled each base cookie using black, grey and white RI.

This is a such a great idea for a set of cookies! It sis VERY tricky to marble around the edge of a cookie, because obviously, that is the part that starts drying first. When I have had to do this in the past, I will flood and pipe the outside edge of the cookie, marble it, and then go on to quickly flood the interior part of the cookie, hoping (praying?!) that the two sections will meld together seamlessly. Still, I think that this set of cookies turned out great, and the slight crusting issues around the edge, lend a little interesting texture and pattern to the edges of the numbers! This is another great entry!
