As inspiration for this set, I used the neutral tones in "Tree Bark" for the overall neutral color scheme as well as the shape that can be seen in the ruffles. Also, I took "Volcano" as inspiration to create craters within the faces and the "stitched" cookies. And because it is October, I couldn't help but put in a Halloween twist! -Amber

Lovely! Can you tell us a little more about the techniques used? I see some airbrushing/stenciling with lace and some molded fondant flower accents (I think), but what else? There's such richness of detail here. Asking out of curiosity, but also to clarify your clip sets. Thanks!
Thank you so much!! I combined quite a few techniques with this set. You are correct, airbrushing/stenciling and fondant. All of the roses and ruffles are created with royal icing. Each piece (including many roses) are hand-painted with gel colors. To create much of the texture, I let water absorb into the royal icing. I also used a scribe tool to carve into many of the areas of royal icing as well. Thanks so much for the opportunity to share! -Amber
