This was a commission from my mother to bring to her friend's retirement party.  Rose is a lovely and amazing lady, who was teaching first grade! My mom thinks very highly of her- the phrases are from the speech my mom gave at her retirement dinner.  A shout out to Blue-Eyed Bakery- my mom saw your tile mosaics and loved them- the inspiration to do something along those lines came from you!

Holy moly, that's impressive.  This would have qualified for both Challenges #9 AND #10!!!
