If you haven't been following the Cake Masters Magazine Facebook page, then let me be the first to tell you that the finalists in their annual sugar arts awards program were announced this week - with the Cookie and Royal Icing Awards categories being announced just today.
The wonderful news is that many congratulations are in order for members of the Cookie Connection community! First, in the Royal Icing category, huge kudos to @Anikó Vargáné Orbán for her spectacular work!
And, in our beloved Cookie category, we've got four Cookie Connection members to congratulate: @Dolce Sentire - Aixa Zunino, @Teri Pringle Wood, @The Painted Box, and @Con Azúcar y Algodón! Way to go, ladies!
Over the next week or so, I and 11 other judges (pictured below) have the incredible challenge of selecting the winners in these categories, as well as several others. (The finalists in the other categories can be found on the Cake Masters Magazine Facebook page.)
As always, we'll have some very tough decisions to make, as all of the finalists' portfolios are top-notch! Best of luck to all who entered.
