Gingerbread Fun

Wow! this is very nice Tina!! A lot of work, very well done!

My heart broke today. I went to my storage room where I keep my Christmas things and found the box with this in. I had made it last year but didn't have a decent photo of the front so thought to rephotograph it. Well hubby shoved an angel on top of it and I found it in a hundred pieces so it is for garbage. It really was pretty from the front. 

I actually posted here not for the greatness of the design but to support Julia's gingerbread month!

We have to watch our hubbies closely, don't we?!  Mine's been known to inadvertently break a cookie project or two, too!

Yes that is my kitchen tile. I love Delft Blue and have a lovely collection. One of the benefits of living in Europe and having great Dutch friends. I also love Russian nestle dolls, Lenox, Precious Moments, English bone china and hand made lace. 

I know this gingerbread isn't an architectural feat but it was cuter from the front!

I spent the afternoon with my 3 best friends all building our ginger houses and having the time of our lives. They are work of love!
