This is my second entry to this challenge and I wanted to try following two.

  1. Raindrop (something transparent)
  2. Painted cookies on my cookie

  1. To paint “raindrop” I drop some water on wax paper and study them close
  2. I wonder whether I can paint my painted-cookies on my cookie.  First I paint 2 umbrellas then I paint them on a bigger cookie

This time I took some photos to show procedures.

I decorated 2 umbrella cookies, lemon one and kiwi one.    Then

  1. I decide where I put my umbrella cookies and raindrops on a big cookie then I paint sky

       1

       2.  Ocean but this one is going to be painted more

        2

        3.  Better ocean with adding dark colors

         3

        4.  Raindrops

         4

        5.  Umbrella

        5

        6.  My original lemon umbrella and a big cookie

         6

       7.  These are my lemon and kiwi umbrellas and big cookie. As you may notice, I have changed kiwi design a little to make them like kiwis but now I think I should leave more room between kiwis.

        7

Overall I am very satisfied with the fact that I tried.  It took long to paint this one but I learn a lot by looking at things very carefully, such as I painted solid green on shaft of lemon umbrella (right side one)  but it is not solid green to express it on a big cookie!  (well, I am saying something.... uh... everyone knows  but it is very interesting for me who don't paint)

It is always a pleasure to see your process unfold before our eyes. Thank you for sharing all of this!

You have so many great things going on here with this entry. I LOVE how you deeply studied the things that you were planning to paint, especially those water droplets, which turned out brilliantly.I think that the kiwis and lemon slices look incredibly realistic - you did not miss a single detail! I am also mesmerized by the sea and sky. The color blending and use of darker shades to define the clouds and waves are really masterful. Finally, I love the whimsy of this cookie, and the contrast of that deep, dark, brooding sky and sea with the light and bright fruit slices. Great addition to the challenge!

Thank you so much for your comment Christine @Bakerloo Station.  Your comment is really meaningful to me and I am glad that I spent a lot of my time.

Actually I didn't plan that well regarding what  I would paint.  It is typhoon season here and we have typhoon one after another.   I wanted to paint sea and sky right before it starts poring, sound of roaring sea and smell of drying and rain.    Sky, well, whenever I look at sky I wonder why painted sky looks more real than real sky ....   Lemon we see lots of lemon products now to prevent heatstroke and kiwi is one of my favorite fruits.    I want those fruit umbrellas, if there are.
