I'm definitely in my Spring flowers Era.  This week, I designed and made a 3D cookie flower teacup and saucer from an idea I've been toying with for some time.

The handle, pollen center, bee, and leaves are modeling chocolate. Cookie details are hand-painted with royal icing, shading is dusted with powder food color.

I was surprised at the vibrancy of the cookie coloring and detail results.
A labor of love to be sure!
