I collaborated with two other women to create a giveaway for unwed mothers-to-be. The other two women made baby quilts and I added the cookies for these young women who have very little.
Using Julia's Mother's Day stencil with all 3 varieties of designs, I made silhouettes depicting mothers with their children. I love this stencil, Julia @Julia M. Usher, and it was perfect for this purpose !!
The cookies were dipped in light blue royal icing with some other colors swirled around to create the "tie-dyed" look. I made a poor choice of using a brown marker on the stenciled cookies to write "A Mother's Love" as it's barely visible. The black shows up so much better.
We are delivering the quilts and cookies tomorrow (I'm attending on Zoom). I look forward to meeting these amazing young, brave women!! We've already decided on our next charity project which will start shortly...

Do you have any plans to create more stencils in the future (in your free time...lol). I'll keep a look out. I believe that I already own all, or nearly all of the pretty plaques, dynamic duos, and kitchen club stencils. They are a wonderful addition to my arsenal of decorating tools!! My clients, family, and friends are always so complimentary. ❤️

Thank you so very, very much dear Heather @Heather Bruce Sosa!! These are teenagers in so much need of love and support. I can't begin to imagine what it must be like to be a teenage mom! It's hard enough to be a parent when you're older and have a wonderful, loving, and supportive hubby to help!! I just pray that their families help as much as they are able. I'm going to also upload some pictures of some quilts that were made as soon as I receive those pics. Those women spent an incredible amount of time to create these beautiful baby quilts. They amaze me with their love and compassion ❤️❤️❤️ Sending lots and lots of hugs your way...
