A birthday gift for a friend who I've never met ❤️. This is a woman who has supported and encouraged me for several years now. I met her through an online support group. I don't know what I would have done without her loving and uplifting presence through some pretty difficult times!! Whenever you think things might be bad, I've found just how important it is to look outside yourself and see that there are so many who face much more difficult challenges than you do!
Line art is such a fun technique to use on cookies . It's not a technique that I use very often, but there are some designs that simply lend themselves to it. The cookie with a wet-on-wet floral design didn't come out as well as I had hoped. There are definitely times when I "over-decorate" a cookie! This, I think, is a good example of that. The drawing looked much better than the finished design idea. But, what's so great about cookie decorating is that learning from your mistakes goes a long way towards growing ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...
