Canada's National Gingerbread Showcase take place each year in Victoria BC the event brings together professional and amateur bakers from across Canada supporting the work of Habitat for Humanity Victoria.   During Canada's National Gingerbread Showcase exhibition at Inn at Laurel Point, members of the public are invited to view the sweet creations and give  a donation.    Although there are no monetary prizes for the participants we are all very happy to participate and help a little bit.
