These cookies represent Halloween costumes for Dolly Dingle. Dolly Dingle was a popular paper doll designated by illustrator Grace Dayton around 1920s (also creator of the Campbell Soup kids).
Dolly Dingle´s image is in the public domain in the United States, where the copyright has expired, because its first publication occurred prior to January 1, 1923.
Vintage in theme and style, these little ladies by Grace Dayton are fabulous! The muted colors and dust antiquing is spot-on, and I like that you chose an oval with a scalloped edge for your cookie shape to create your lace "trim." This is a terrific addition to the challenge!
