My first attempt at painting on a cookie...painting by hand on a cookie intimidates me more than I can express! I'm no artist but you have to start somewhere, right??
Carol wellll damnnnnnnnnnnn shazaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmm bravo absolutely love it still staring dancing to top ten top ten bravoooooo
Oh thank you kindly Dona! I really appreciate your kindness...was super intimated to try and paint. I watched a video by SweetAmbs and one of the things she said was "just go for it". So, I did....I liked the result quite a bit but don't know if it was wise to airbrush the stencil in pearl underneath the painting...still thinking about that. Thank you

ps all morning i tried doing stamped halloween boo hisss haha booo on me disaster the halloween stamps might not be ideal to use bah!
Stamps can be tricky, I think. The cookie has to be completely flat and the "ink" has to be just the right amount for it to work well. At least that's been my experience. I love how they look and have several stamps. But I'm very choosey about what cookies to stamp particularly because of how important it is for the cookie to be totally flat. Good for you to keep at it . I'm always so proud of you because you continue to try new things!!! Bravo right back to you
Very pretty! I never would have thought it is painted, it looks like excellent wet-on-wet
Thank you Laegwen!! I tried to blend the colors together very carefully and also chose colors that are close in the color palette with the darker in the center. I also think it may have a more watercolor look because of the pearl stencil that I airbrushed onto the cookie before I started to paint...Anyway, it turned out to be a good experience and I'll try it again. Thanks again!! You are such an amazing cookier and it means a lot that you liked my first painted cookie
