Though lovely as is, these cookies are even more striking as "platters" for my 3-D sandwiched wedding cake cookies, or as part of my 3-D cookie wedding bouquets! (pictured below; video coming soon!) But given their relatively ornate nature, these doilies are deserving of this video of their own! They're also a pretty way to practice outlining, flooding, and beadwork techniques, as well as quick-drying with a dehydrator.

thank you for sharing! This is gorgeous - but I also think good practice for piping rounded lines, I have trouble with that still. Might have to play with this for practice & fun!

I've looked forward to seeing this video and enjoyed every minute of it! I've never used parchment cones, but will give them a try soon, I like the finer lines you achieved on your doily cookie, using the parchment cone. The tip you shared, for using the dehydrator to dry the surface of the royal icing, to avoid cratering, is a wonderful tip! I see a dehydrator in my future. Thanks so much for this very informative video! And for sharing your talent and tips on creating your eyelet lace doily cookies! They are so beautiful!
