Lovely! I'm wondering what the central heart beads are made of - molded fondant or gumpaste, or something else? Also, what about the white lacy piece - is it a frosting sheet or edible cake lace? It doesn't look sheer enough to be wafer paper. Thanks!

Dear Julia,

I can't believe to receive a comment directly from you!  I am so thrilled(≧∇≦)

The central heart is made of molded fondant and they are painted with edible paint which is metallic color.

White lacy pieces are made of royal icing. I tried to make them curved like a dome, but as you can expect, it is so fragile and easily break.

I had an experiment many times and finally it worked though, it doesn't have to be a dome in this work (hahaha)(((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))

I used the dome which is made of royal icing for something else.

Thank you very much again!!!

Thanks for the info! I like the broken royal icing effect!
