Love the red - very striking! Do you place cellophane over the dough before you cut the cookies? I like the rounded edges.

Thank you, no, most all of my cookies are my honey gingerbread  that all have a slightly domed shape, part of their natural beauty. See attachment,  thank you for your interest.

Also - do you use the icing right off the mixer or do you thin it a bit to make those gorgeous roses?

Most often just as is if any thing I add a little powdered sugar to thicken

Teri, Do you remember where you bought your scalloped cutter? I see some on Amazon but I'm not sure the scallops as are deep as yours.
