Due to time constraints I did the Moko faces printed on edible icing sheets for a recent order. But afterwards I did see how I could do it in RI. Left to right - thick/soft, medium/stiffer, thin/stiff.

Nice photo comparison. So which do you think gave the best result? which was the easiest to handle/pipe?

Now, that's an interesting question Julia.
The men all liked the brown one, which looks easy but actually the hardest to do - with such soft RI, i didn't like the way the lines wanted to run together.
The black was the easiest due to single lines, soft but good consistency and was considered the most striking for obvious reason.
The teal coloured was the most difficult as I used a much thinner tip and stiffer icing which didn't really run together for the small flooded in reasons. And some parts needed double lines.
For time, effort and appealingness, I would go the black, but tone that down to a deep chocolate brown, and maybe have two different tips and/or consistency.
Cheers Kat
